Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management & Planning: Oversee the financial management and planning of the agency, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategies.
  
• Preparing Financial Statements & Reports: Produce accurate financial statements and reports to keep the management team informed.
  
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, perform financial forecasting, and ensure that we meet our financial goals.
  
• Ensuring Compliance with Financial Regulations: Ensure the company complies with relevant financial laws, tax obligations, and industry regulations.
  
• Auditing & Internal Controls: Conduct internal audits and maintain control systems to monitor financial activities and identify any discrepancies.
  
• Managing Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitor cash flow by managing payables and receivables effectively.
  
• Analyzing Financial Data: Analyze financial data to provide insights and inform strategic business decisions, helping the agency optimize profitability.
  

Industry-Specific Challenges:

• Managing Complex Revenue Recognition: Deal with revenue recognition rules in the travel industry, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  
• Handling Multiple Currencies & Exchange Rates: Manage transactions across different currencies and exchange rate fluctuations.
  
• Ensuring Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with international, local tax laws, and regulations specific to the travel industry.
  
• Optimizing Business Performance: Use financial analysis to guide business strategies and improve operational efficiency.
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential.
• Strong Accounting Knowledge: Proficient in financial accounting, reporting, and industry-specific accounting systems.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and organizational skills.
• Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience: 5 years and above experience in Airline Ticketing.
• Education: Should have a 2.2 or above in university degree.
